In old family scrapbooks, tiny curled up, slightly black and white photos are pasted on the brown paper. These photos of Old Faithful Geyser, a chipmunk or even the family dog represent Marcia's first attempts at photography at about the age of 10. As well as writing stories and poems about many memorable events in her life, she also loves documenting them with photographs.
Having lived in seven states and having traveled extensively, Marcia has taken advantage of her surroundings.
In 1992, Marcia presented her first photo exhibit at the First Unitairan Church in Linkcroft, New Jersey. Since that time, her photographs have been displayed in galleries and show in New Jersey through the Freehold Art Society and the Red Bank Art Alliance of Monmouth Country.
Marcia considers herself an "explorer" who "finds" photos rather than "creating" them. Also a storyteller she likes to add an occasional caption to certain photographs which might help the viewer mentally step into them.
